Meetings and Events

The Edison & Ford Winter Estates offers your guests an unconventional alternative to the usual banquet hall.  The Estates provides a unique off-site venue with the historic and botanic atmosphere that your guests will be talking about for years.  Host your event in the same tropical wonderland that Thomas Edison and Henry Ford hosted their family, friends and business associates.

Daytime Events

Space is available for daytime events for 4 hours between 9am and 5:30pm in the following locations:

            Caretaker’s House (up to 32 guests)

            Edison’s Coconut Grove (up to 200 guests)

            Ford’s Riverside Lawn (up to 200 guests)

Evening Events

Space is available for evening events for 4 hours between 5pm and 10pm in the following locations:

            Estates Museum (up to 200 guests)

            Caretaker’s House and Lawn (up to 100 guests)

            Edison’s Coconut Grove (up to 200 guests)

            Ford’s Riverside Lawn (up to 250 guests)

Meetings

The recently restored Caretaker’s House at the Estates is the perfect location for your next business meeting.  This charming historic building with its original wood floors has been updated with air conditioning, track lighting, high speed internet, and projection screen to ensure your meeting is a success.

Additional Opportunities

Special tours, educational programs, Estates events and Estates publications are available at an additional cost.  Estates Events staff will provide additional information to make your event special.  Such additional opportunities include, but are not limited to:

• Tour and Lunch Packages
• Botanic Laboratory Tours
• Visits by Mr. & Mrs. Edison or Mr. & Mrs. Ford Characters
• Botanical Table Arrangements
• Guidebooks & Other Favors at Discounted Rates
