Fort Myers, FL (June 9, 2009) - Celebrate Father’s Day, June 21st  at the Edison & Ford Winter Est= ates by creating a wonderful memento of the day by attending the Estates Fish Printing Workshop (al= so known at gyotaku, the Japanese art of fish rubbing).  To honor Dads, the Estates will be offering free admission to any father accompanied with their child.  Thomas Edison and his son enjoyed southwest Florida= fishing and created many of their own happy memories.  The Estates invites fathers and th= eir children to create their own memories.

 

The= Fish Printing Workshop begins at 1= 0:30 AM and continues until 12:30 PM. All participants must bring a t-shirt.  There is no charge for the worksho= p. The Estates will provide the “fish”, paint, and skill for participa= nts to make a lasting keepsake of the day.&nbs= p;

 

Aft= er the workshop visitors can enjoy hot dogs and refreshments in the Edison Caretaker’s House and tour the national award winning site.
